Interests - reading, webcomics, and playing board games with fun people
Bio - She is originally from Richmond, VA. Besides being involved with LGBTA, she plays baritone in the Marching Virginians and serves as MV's Personnel Officer. She also participates in Cooper House Presbyterian Student Fellowship fun times every week. This summer she's going to work in Tijuana, Mexico, with a group that builds houses for really poor families.
Role in LGBTA - Represents the organization and maintain contacts with university administration; works as an administrator on tasks that cannot be referred to a particular committee; delegates all information, tasks, and plans to the appropriate officers; oversees all duties of officers, and chair of all general and Executive Board meetings unless otherwise delegated.
Interests - feminist and LGBT activism, knitting, partying and clubbing
Bio - Lucy likes to think of herself as the token transgender on the Exec Board, but then she has an inflated opinion of herself. Lucy originally came to Virginia Tech to study Engineering before coming to her senses. With a triple minor in Gender, Science, & Technology, History, and History of Science & Technology, Lucy intends to go on to Graduate School for some confusing mix of gender studies, queer studies, and science & technology in society.
Role in LGBTA - Carries out delegated correspondence with outside groups, persons, and institutions; raises community visibility through general advertisement and publicity; coordinates and manages any policies, activities, and programs related to fundraising for the organization.
Interests - medicine, reading Alex Sanchez, The Sims, America's Next Top Model, Absolutely Fabulous
Bio - He likes to have fun, whether he's at a bar hanging out with friends or just chillen in the office. He's a Jr. currently and hopes to attend chiropractic school in the fall of 09. Most important of all he tries to love the life he's living now and have fun with what he's doing. "The Orange and Maroon you see, That's fighting on to victory; Our strife will not be long this day, For glory lies within this fray."
Role in LGBTA - Maintains LGBTA Resource Center, coordinates programs and activities, information and relevant administrative duties with committees and committee chairs involving AAW; integrates and oversees all committee activities; and reserves rooms for all those events.
Interests - Diana Wynne Jones books, fantasy novels in general, languages, videogames, traveling, Project Runway!
Bio - Jacob grew up in Mechanicsville, a small town north of Richmond. He lived a normal life and was in the marching band at his high school. He took 8 years of piano lessons and was in the top of his band, so his parents are mad at him for not majoring in Music. Oh well.
Role in LGBTA - Maintains and regularly updates the organization's website; manages any electronic discussion and announcement listservs for the organization; keeps records of the contact information for all Exec-Board members and advisors; and maintains Facebook group profile.
Interests - Fencing, Recycling, Traveling, Animal Behavior, World Views, Dancing, and Shiny Things
Bio - Sarah is a Hampton native and was born during the week of the Aries-Taurus Cusp. She starts off every morning with at least one cup of coffee, and often enjoys geeking out over an afternoon cappuccino with friends. She loves all board games, and is always up for a round of foosball.

Bio - Dinah is 22 years old and have lived in Virginia for the past 11 years. She was originally born and raised on a tiny island called Trinidad in the Caribbean... her oldest sister still lives there with her husband and 2 daughters. Currently she calls Vienna, VA home, because that's where her mom lives, but rarely is she ever there because she loves to travel and take road trips to visit friends.

Interests - Tae Kwon Do, reading, Video games, Going pretty much anywhere with friends.
Bio - David is a transfer student from Central Virginia, and is loving it here at Virginia Tech so far, and has come to think of Blacksburg as a sort of second home already. He's a tad on the shy side, but loves doing stuff with other people, especially if it entails goofing off.
